Effective date: September 14, 2026

This page explains what personal information Just Savour Life collects, why, and what you can do about it. It's written with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) as the baseline, since the site is run from Canada — and applied in the same spirit for visitors elsewhere, including the Philippines and other parts of Asia the site's audience increasingly reaches.

What's collected

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, and whatever you write in the message field, when you use the Contact page.
  • Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, and your name if you provide it, when you subscribe. Handled by the email platform used to send the newsletter, which has its own privacy practices in addition to this policy.
  • Basic site usage data — general information such as which pages are visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, and how people generally arrive at the site, collected automatically through Webflow Analyze, the analytics built into the site's hosting platform. It sets no cookies; it stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser so repeat visits can be recognized as the same browser. That identifier isn't linked to your name or email, and isn't used to track you across other sites. See the Cookies page for how to clear or block it.

Just Savour Life doesn't currently sell products or process payments on-site, so no payment information is collected directly.

Why it's collected

  • To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
  • To send the newsletter to people who've asked to receive it.
  • To understand, in aggregate, what content resonates, so future writing and site decisions are better informed.

Personal information isn't sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. It's only shared with the service providers that make the site and newsletter work, each of which processes it under their own privacy terms.

Where data is stored

Because the site's hosting and email tools are widely-used platforms, some data may be stored or processed on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Reasonable steps are taken to work with providers that maintain appropriate privacy and security standards, consistent with PIPEDA's expectations for cross-border data handling.

Your choices

  • You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
  • You can request to see what personal information is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by reaching out via the Contact page.
  • You can clear or block the site-analytics identifier at any time through your browser's site-data settings — see the Cookies page.
  • You can withdraw consent for any use of your information going forward, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

Retention

Contact form messages and newsletter sign-up information are kept for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, or until you ask for them to be deleted.

Children's privacy

Just Savour Life isn't directed at children, and personal information isn't knowingly collected from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

This page may be updated from time to time — for example, when a newsletter platform, analytics tool, or monetization feature is added. The effective date above will reflect the most recent update.
